Ashoka is the leading organization that promotes, supports and invests on social entrepreneurs.

As a global initiative by Ashoka, Youth Venture was launched with the vision that everyone in society can be a changemaker who could take initiative and address social needs. We believe that it is critical that people learn early on in life that they can lead social change so that they can eventually continue to take initiatives and lead throughout their lives.

Youth Venture helps build teams of young people who can and will address key societal problems in their community. We provide training, coaching, and seed funding to Youth Venture teams in order to help them design, launch and run their own social ventures, catalyzing a movement of youth-led social change.


We invite you to Beyond Bottomlines 2: An Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship

Due to the success of the first-run of Beyond Bottomlines: An Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship, the Ateneo de Manila University-School of Government and Ashoka-Philippines Youth Venture would like to invite you to the 2nd run of Beyond Bottomlines: An Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship. This whole day seminar-workshop will aim to introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship, present best practices by existing local and international social entrepreneurs and give an opportunity to the participants to develop their own social enterprise business plans. This will be held on September 20,2008 (Saturday), 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ateneo Professional Schools, Rockwell Center, Makati City, Metro Manila. The registration fee will be P 2,600.00 per person and only 35 participants can be accomodated into this seminar-workshop.
